What are experiential mindfulness and somatic techniques? How can they help us see deeply into unconscious thoughts and emotions that negatively impact the quality of our lives? And what has modern psychology research and neuroscience taught us about using mindfulness and psychotherapy to effectively heal and grow.

In this workshop, California licensed psychotherapist Tim Holtzman, LPCC will share cutting edge research and techniques for personal development and increased emotional intelligence. The event will be experiential based – you will be guided through techniques that will increase your present-moment mental and emotional clarity. And through increased clarity, you'll begin to gain access to unconscious processes of your heart and mind.

If you’re someone who enjoys learning and trying out cutting-edge self-growth and self-realization practices, this workshop is for you.

This event is limited to six participants. Due to limited space, please RSVP by purchasing your ticket to guarantee your spot. The event will be held at 582 Market St., just above Montgomery BART station. Please arrive by 7:30pm.

Now more than ever before in history, neuroscience and advanced research designs are revealing which psychotherapeutic techniques and life practices create significant and lasting psychological changes. One of the key findings of neuroscience research is that unconscious processes of our brains have a far more powerful influence on our emotional tendencies and habitual behaviors than our conscious processes (Haidt, 2006). This means that your attempts to consciously alter your thoughts and emotions will continually fall short until you find effective ways to access and update unconscious mental and emotional processes.
